DEVICOM is looking for a front-end developer to join its team and help design, develop, and deliver digital solutions for its clients. In collaboration with the artistic coordinator and the web and application supervisor, the front-end developer works daily with developers and business analysts to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. They are responsible for ensuring compliance with technical specifications and design.

• Create the visual design of functional mockups and cross-platform interfaces

• Participate in the development of service offerings and monitor the execution of projects (budget/deadlines)

• Participate in the functional analysis of projects

• Perform HTML/CSS integration (cross-platform)

• Carry out front-end programming (JavaScript/PHP)

• Make modifications to already developed websites

• Check compatibility across all supported platforms

• Communicate with the project manager

• Keep the client informed about the progress and issues of the projects

• Suggest areas for improvement

• Collaborate with other programmers, integrators, and designers

• DEC in multimedia integration or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of usability and web ergonomics

• Experience in customer service

• Familiarity with best practices in web development

• Knowledge of PHP/HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery/MYSQL

• Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator

• Familiarity with WordPress and other CMS (Joomla, Magento)

• Good understanding of SEO fundamentals

• Familiarity with social media

• Written comprehension of English (bilingualism an asset)

• Experienced in Responsive Web Design
