Job description

We are currently looking for a motivated junior IT Sales Specialist to join our team at DEVICOM. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our products and services to clients and negotiating contracts with them.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with clients and can work independently both on the road and in the office. You must be a good communicator and able to understand our clients' needs to offer them tailored solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a sales background. You should also have a positive attitude and be ready to take on challenges.

Functions

  • Establish and operationalize a prospecting strategy;

  • Participate in the strategic qualification of clients;

  • Stay updated and alert to IT opportunities;

  • Determine client requirements and expectations to recommend next steps;

  • Use available tools for client needs assessment and propose improvements when necessary;

  • Keep documentation up to date and optimize CRM usage to create an accurate and detailed client profile;

  • Ensure follow-ups and negotiations with clients;

  • Participate in the development of new markets.

Skills and desired experience

  • At least two (2) years of experience in a similar role (sales and prospecting);

  • Excellent knowledge and experience in the IT sector (experience in the field preferred);

  • Knowledge of Microsoft products (Office 365 & others);

  • Knowledge of sales software, CRM/ERP;

  • Strategic business vision (Unwavering motivation / Be proactive);

  • Courteous and professional attitude;

  • Time management and prioritization skills (Autonomy);

  • Knowledge of communication techniques (Prospecting calls);

  • Strong negotiation skills (Leadership to develop sales abilities);

  • DEP in sales / AEC;

  • Bilingualism (an asset);

  • Valid driver’s license;

  • Access to a vehicle.
