Job description
DEVICOM is looking for a technical analyst to analyze and address the client's IT and technical needs. Specifically, they will oversee the implementation and evaluation of systems and networks. Depending on the requirements, ranging from system performance to fault correction, the analyst will seek solutions and ensure their application.
The role involves using the company's pre-established tools and documents, as well as ensuring the updating and longevity of information. It is important to note that this position requires regular travel to client sites.
Functions
Travel, as assigned, to client buildings across the territory to resolve incidents and fulfill user service requests
Prepare IT equipment for installation (workstation setup)
Install IT equipment for users
Diagnose issues related to equipment and software
Provide remote user support via phone or other means
Use the City of Saguenay's IT tools to identify tasks and ensure follow-up on interventions
Write technical reports related to the scope of work
Work closely with existing technical teams
Perform basic administrative tasks on Windows servers
Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting tasks for the Cisco IP phone system
Skills and desired experience
A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in similar environments
Strong customer service approach
At least five (5) years of relevant experience in providing IT support to users on computers, peripherals, operating systems, and office applications in medium or large-scale businesses (more than 100 computers/users)
Own a car and a valid driver's license
Relevant experience in administering Windows 2008 or later servers and Active Directory
Relevant experience in managing TCP/IP networks (switches, routers)
Relevant experience in managing Cisco IP telephony systems
Hold a college diploma or a college certificate in computer science
Strong proficiency in French and English
Assets: holding a Microsoft certification, CCNA and/or equivalent, and/or certification/training in TCP/IP networks
